Here is my "free software" recommendation for this week.
I started using Easy Thumbnails about two years ago and I love it. It's an application that allows you to reduce the size of as many photos as you like in one shot instead of doing each photo individually. You can also make alterations to the brightness, the contrast, etc. Try Easy Thumbnails.
